Vagabond,
Yes I think demanding the salaries could be a reason. |

The news is only half true. other half they hide. why not the news source disclose some details of deportation than just grossly publishing the head line.
The readers have more unanswered questions after reading the news.
May be newspaper is publishing some gossips from air port officials.

I'm sure that they are various reasons
I agree that there are some employers cheat and do not pay their wages....but this is not the whole scenario
I will draw Kuwait as an example :
There were cases where some House Maids made kidz at landlord place drink their urine (mixed with juice), some house maids making Kasippu at home (all necessary items are available free at home), there was a house maid spends all the day time naked in frond of kids...when they are caught by the employer...what whould you expect them to do?????
Nowadays in Kuwait, Sri Lankans are famous in other more fields.... our sisters are taking control of prostitution business (the cheapest available), our brothers are the leading drug dealers in Kuwait now...and lot of our sisters (even with having families, kids in s.lanka) are now living with Bangladeshis and Pakistani's as hus&wives
what do you expect the authorities do when they catch some one with red hat involved in this...or find a woman living with someone in a room without having valid residence or valid legal marriage document.... |
