you better open the box and do a test for GPS , you never know :):)
Only box I open is lunch box.....since I use public transport, I am very good with reading bus and underground maps....and I have a good 'nose' for Wi-Fi hots spots...thats enought for now me thinks:):):)

Funny thing is I used to ask the same from my late uncle and he always told me that its only for exercise, though I think there was more to it!!!
