This psycho also went upto Canadian Embassy to get a visa for his son using his street thuggery...
There is no point in wondering how he got his 'Doctorate'..

What general secretary SLFP said about Dr. Mervin that 'there is no written complain against him' is an accepted practice used by responsible people to cover up the truth.
Even more than 20 years ago Deputy Director of Ministry of Transport published an statement in Davasa paper saying that there was no written complain against the private bus conductors saying that they were not issuing tickets. Still his statement and his picture resonate my mind.
History repeats. Are we fools to believe it again and again?

as most of which would be 99.99% agree this man MV is a mennace to society and is a absolute mutt and he needs

whole parliment bombed while in session and also to have our President there while this
happens. i am sure the LTTE will never do this as they are enjoying what they are seing.

Mervyn Silva's doctorate is from the Homeopathy Institute given on the recommendation of Dr.Anton Jayasuriya on the recommendation of Dr.Geethanjana Mendis who is the Sports Ministry doctor.
Anyway as earlier mentioned by Anizam, Dr.Mervyn Silva is a true PATRIOT of Sri Lanka with Royal Blood and lineage from the Anuradhpura era hailing from the south and is a true buddhist and an true son of the soil. He upholds the Sri Lankan 'culture' to the highest possible levels which no other individual in Sri Lanka will even think of doing. That is why even President MR and the other PA politicians highly respect him and that is why he has been honoured with a doctorate. Mervyn Silva is a shining example to all other Sri Lankans and he leads the way in showing Sri Lankans the way to a successful life in the replended island. The fund raising projects implemented in Kelaniya and Kiribathgoda under his vision are ample testimony to the fact.
Carry on Sir, all these accusations are by people who are against your steadfast leadership they are the traitors of the nation not you!

Somebody has to go to the courts against this animal's doctorate,It's an insult to all the educated people in sri lanka.
I heard Dr Geethanjana mendis who is a good friend of mervin was involved with fake Dr Anton jayasooriya of house chandra to get this title. We have to take them to the courts too. |

| Who the hell gave this idiot a Doctorate, whoever it is should be sent to gallows. This idiot Mervyn Silva should be stripped naked at Galle Face and whipped for the thugerry he has committed. His son should not be given bail and should remain jailed for rest of his life. The sad part is the President himself has succumb to his antics and so far the so called democratically elected President has not condone Mervyn Silva's thuggery. Also Jeyaraj Fernadopulle is a paranoid poodle who hides behind President's sarong to get favours done. He can open his foul smelling mouth against westerners but not against Mervyn Silva. I just hope at the next elections, Sri lankans will open their eyes and elect intellectuals not rowdies, thugs, drug-dealers, brothel-house owners to the Parliament. Its time Sri Lankans woke up. People like HLD Mahindapala can write any idiotic thesis from Australia, but who is paying the price in Sri Lanka, the innocent Sri Lankan villagers. Wake up Sri Lanka, time has come to over throw this government and elect people who are willing to take Sri Lanka on a straight road without any polticians pocketing money into their pockets.
