It is interesting to see what the AI will say about the death of the Catholic priest in deep Wanni, Mallavi, to be exact..

it is bitter truth for the LTTE...

LTTE thinking: shall we or shan't we say it's the LRRP of SLA working in the heart of the LTTE stronghold or accept our own miscalculation..

Both ways we are doomed..

let's wait and see how the HR champions, SLMM will try to give a twist to this incident...

This is very interesting. It is like LTTE saying that they don't have any control over Wanni, and DPU is controlling Wanni.

this is pretty interesting. They will definitely talk because it is a Catholic PReist.

Anud,

Indeed it is so..

in fact, all the international News agencies, like BBC, AP, AFP, Reuters, never forget to add 'the rebels still run a de-facto state in the North of Sri Lanka', at the end of most of their reports..

and now they will be at a loss to explain how a catholic priest got bombed by a claymore inside that 'de-facto' state!

So..my opinion is that the SLMM will initially be advised to do some damage control in this regard..like saying that they are not sure as to who is behind this..

and then AI will come to the fore...

in the mean time, all the above news agencies..will say..'both parties blame each other'...and they won't say anything about the 'de-facto' bull nywhere there..

This is not the first time LRRP had been able to plant mines in rebel held area's. They have been successful in eliminating a few ranked LTTE and they are also responsible for many civilian lives.

May the soul of the priest rest in peace. His life was not lost in vain. He died in the service of humanity.

So you accept that Wanni is governed by LTTE and run by SLA - DPU.

I think, General Parami Kulatunga is responsible for making SOOSai a STUMPY and getting rid of WHO ?.

If you call that governing and running a area then LTTE has been governing and running SL for a long time at the amount of political and military leaders they have taken out.

So you can make that determination.

Two people are complementing each other on the news of a death -- the tragic death of a catholic priest!
