A person from any other religion can still practice this way of life without carrying a label

Believe that is true .. practise of the Teaching does not demand a 'label'. It is an 'appeal' to genuine, honest understanding .. and as much as those with a strong 'hindu' back-ground attained 'arahat-ship' during Budha's time .. simply by listening to the Budha, and being convinced .. one could 'gain' im-measurably from a study of the Budha's Teaching, in the present day.

But it would be 'churlish' to try to incorporate those same ideas into another 'religion', and claim credit for it. That would be like 'slapping-on' on another 'label'. Give 'honest' credit where due, and you will find the 'understanding' sits more firmly with you.

When is Rajapakse Son coming to politics? Maybe he'll get Ministry of education and Youth as soon as he enters. Or even Cheif of the Navy!

SenaM (who is very very closely related to the rajaPASSA family) :) told me Namal RajaPassa will be given the Ministry of 'Aston Martin' Affairs!! :) :)

These leaders follow the tradition of Dutugaamunu tradition. Guardian angel of the Buddhist nation. Their main duty is to protect Buddhist nation from centuries old invasions, whether it may be European or Racist Tamil expansionism. They know now it is important to control the power of Buddhist priests over our nation, which will never happen. Like Vietnam priests, like Miyanmatr priests our priests know their duty.

When you see a rabies-infected dog, you should kill it rather than talking about good old days when it was puppy and playful.

Sritharan,
This bit in your comment, I really like it and wish to see you apply this to other situations, organizations, missions, struggles etc.

NB: Jaffna Vellala leaders had the same problem and thought the same way at one point of history, but they were a bit unfortunate that never lived to see the beast dead.

Good luck anyway.

Religion doesn't make much difference to some Radicals,Who believe in Destruction of human life.
What ever News or Article some turn it to Racial issue,Which shows difficulties in there DNA structure.
