Sri Lanka has warned the European Union (EU) that any action against it at the Human Rights Council will adversely affect its commitment to a 'constructive engagement' with the UN human rights mechanisms.

I thought they provided a free education to the bustling youth in wanni. Tst, what is this world comming to, eh?
In the good old days (early 80's), a kid didn't have to pay to learn how to lay mines and make suicide jackets. All they had to do was hang around the streets for a while they smelt a repugnant stench. That was how they knew the LTTE were coming to abduct them------- free education.

MULLAITHIVU: A flotilla of Tiger terrorists as well as their Sea Tiger launching pad in MULLAITHIVU was attacked this evening (13) at about 6.30 p.m. by a combined operation conducted by Naval and Air Force Troops.
The fleet consisting of about 30 Tiger boats were sailing in the seas close to MULLAITHIVU while preparing for a clandestine mission when they were spotted by Naval troops in the evening.

SRI LANKA AIR FORCE FIGHTER jets have pounded the LTTE's financial nerve centre at Puthukuduiruppu in the Mullaithivu area this morning (September 13). According to the defence sources, the target which is a strategically vital location for the LTTE terrorists has been accurately hit by the Kafir and Mig 27 fighter jets around 8.20 a.m..
Defence intelligence sources described the target as the location where the LTTE's financial .......
