Pride is a form of ignorance: so do you mean to say MR supporters are ignorant.
Proud Sri Lankans and most soldiers in the world gain confidence out of using this expression.
Their big problem is, that they can never be sure, if their leader is a good one or not. Hitler ruined a lot of families all over Europe and history is full of bad idols and wars without any winners.
Also proud Sri Lankans will find out one day, if thy had chosen the right leaders or not.
The public sector is draining the treasury and remember the govt will have to pay pension for all its public servants. How is it going to fund it?
More debts, more inflation, more money printing. The usual repertoire of this administration which does not even want to reduce general petrol consumption by enforcing regular exhaust control through the police.
Properly adjusted engines could save millions of cash every month. Not to mention health care savings through reduced pollution.
One simple law that can be copied from loads of countries in the neighborhood.

The current crisis could have been solved amicably and to the benefit of the country as a whole, then politicians will not have a smoke screen to hide their corruption and inefficiencies. People only see the smoke screen and howl like hyenas. |

After all this is all about winning Tamils and Muslims hearts and minds...
One cannot win the hearts and minds of any people,let alone Tamils,by bombing and bombarding their homes and fields and displacing them and making them destitute by destroying their livelihood and making them to depend on the handouts and mercy of the facist and terrorist aggressor.
In fact,fyi, the hate the Tamils have on the sinhalese racists,facists and the state terrorists is ten times worse than they had before Motta Raala came to power,for obvious reasons.

you are so poor to get that.
You have not develop the point that you must serve to the country rather than chasing on money.
You are not in SL because you know that you may now get a high salary. I do not know how far you have educated. But I am pretty sure that you are unable to earn 10% of today's salary if you were in SL.
That is what I meant. Hope you got the point.

Serve the country than chasing money
How do serve your country when your country really does not want you and considered a terrorist when your only crime is being Tamil. (Which has changed a lot to the credit of peace loving people at least in the major cities).
Good one, why don't you give this advice to your politicians, at least I am not chasing behind public funds.
