| I'm just waiting for some videos or pictures of the recent battle. Hopefully they managed to get some aerial as well as sea perspectives. It was around 6:30pm so It may have been too dark to get any decent footage. |

Time is almost ripe to liberate Wanni.
I would not say just yet. One thing is East is liberated recently and the GOSL needs to develop it to a certain extent to show the IC that development projects are taking place without the LTTE influences so that IC will realise that GOSL is actually in a situation to create a viable solution (I mean if the PC elections are going to be held in the mean time too). In this way the respect and confidence of the Tamils in the east is restored somewhat.
Liberating Wanni while holding onto east must be carefully tackled. Its no point having both taken while the other is done nothing. Therefore its better to make a statement that GOSL is actually doing for the Tamils, then North will be a smarter place to get without much a fight.
What's your thoughts? After all this is all about winning Tamils and Muslims hearts and minds than actually trying to invade another country.

Sri Lanka has warned the European Union (EU) that any action against it at the Human Rights Council will adversely affect its commitment to a 'constructive engagement' with the UN human rights mechanisms. 'Such action will go against the letter and spirit in which Sri Lanka has been cooperating with UN human rights mechanisms
Excellent... as if we are going to oursource our security and safety to foreigners!
The 'failed' state sometimes CAN screw up courage to face the big guns....

Because that is punnakku fed to the south. If people kept account of all LTTE killed according to GOSL then there wont be any more LTTE.
Are you expecting GOSL to give out total, all accurate, perfect count... when it's fighting LTTE terrorists?

Buddy... it's better to be stupid... than dead or maimed... After all stupid folks must live too and cannot vanish leaving space for SWETs.
But the stupidity of SWETs... is beyond my comprehension... for a starter... they are so stupid... they buy and chase daydreams... not to mention living in it 24/7 and kill fellow Tamils just to wake up next morning to daydream... again! |
