?I've checked with related police bureaux -- the Immigration Police, the Metropolitan Police and the Special Branch. There has been no report of a Tiger rebel arrested in Bangkok,? national police spokesman Lieutenant-General Ronnarong Youngyuen said. ?If we'd arrested him, we would have made good publicity out of it,? he told Reuters.

Strategist:
I don't think Manmohan Singh government wanted the international exposure on this. He is concerned on his 'anti terror' stance in the eyes of the international community.
Pal, this has nothing to do with terrorism... this poor man is just bringing stuff collected from poor Tamils in TN... nothing to be even pay any attention... Besides, Tigers come and go between TN and Eelam all the time, this man's mission is nothing secrative..
This is a great injustice!

| It is good Indian police arrested Nadumaran and his hentchmen. How this guy engage politics if he can't respect normal law in a country. India must send him to jail as he has violated international law trying to interfere soverinity of other country. There are millions of poor people in TamilNadu and he can distribute these foods among them rather than trying to give them to Tamils in North. |

If you chose to leave because you didn?t want to put up with the ?crap? Why the hell do you care about our country?
Just because you leave a country you do not forget the people you grew up with or their well being.
You do not need citizenship to stand up for justice and speak out even if it is not palatable to others.
Today we live in a global village and injustice in any part of the world matters to everyone. This might be a hard concept for you to comprehend but thats reality.
By supporting that mad man and believing his terror campaign you are guilty of destroying our country my ma! And you are responsible of each of that life that has been lost because of this war!
I support justice for Tamils normally do not support individuals but even if a mad man is striving to achieve this objective then it is my moral obligation to support him or her.
I don't think I am destroying S/L your politicians are doing that for you.
When you go to sleep do you see the faces of those dead people ?
I don't have the same dreams you have as I have never advocated murder. Life to me is sacred it does not have a race or religion.

Hi Eelamaya
Whatever it is India does not want publicity or unnecessary 'noise'.
Interesting article on KP's arrest:

Sri Lankan extremist govt must have let food supplies reach Tamils in Jaffna, it's its responsibility.
Extremism is dangerous. SL govt urged the Indian govt to stop the humanitarian gesture -these food supplies reaching the needy - when Nedumaran approached rightly the Red Cross Society. It's quite normal for NGOs and foreign sympathisers send food and medical supplies to the needy in times of need. The SL atmy or navy can check if their is any undesirable or prohibited itms in the cargo. This shows both SL and Indian govts are barbaric and not compassinate towards starving people.
Look at other extremists, Taliban, in Pakistan who demolish Buddha's statute, this is another mere madness:
Attack on giant Pakistan Buddha
Swat valley Buddha (file photo)
The Buddha at Swat was only slightly damaged
Suspected pro-Taleban militants have tried to blow up an ancient carving of Buddha in north-west Pakistan.
The statue, thought to date from the second century BC, sustained only minimal damage in the attack near Manglore in remote Swat district.
The area has seen a rise in attacks on 'un-Islamic' targets in recent months.
