VP is singing a song...this time it sounds like ABBA..

Where are those happy days
ships seem so hard to find?
I try to reach for them
SLN was not that blind
whatever happened to our war?
I wish I understood
it used to be so nice
it used to be so good

So when you're near me
Nedumaran
can't you hear me SOS
the money they gave me
nothing else can save me SOS
when KP is gone
how can I even try to buy those guns?
when ships are gone
though I try how can I fight on?

Ships seem so far away
though they were sunk so near
They made me feel alive
but all got bumped I fear

I tried to take Mavil Aru
now I wish I never went
what happened to our war?
now I seem so spent..

More bad news
SRI LANKA AIR FORCE FIGHTER jets have pounded the LTTE's financial nerve centre at Puthukuduiruppu in the Mullaithivu area this morning (September 13). According to the defence sources, the target which is a strategically vital location for the LTTE terrorists has been accurately hit by the Kafir and Mig 27 fighter jets around 8.20 a.m.
Defence intelligence sources described the target as the location where the LTTE's financial wing leader Thamilendi has been carrying out his operations from. The information on the target has been obtained through both ground and air surveillance carried out for a long period, sources said. Further, real time ground information has confirmed that the terrorists' activities based on the target had increased for the last two- three weeks, the source added.
According to the civilian sources in Wanni, Thamilendi is known to be one of the most corrupt LTTE leaders after LTTE's intelligence wing leader, Pottu Amman. Since the terrorists' global fund-raising mechanism was badly hit by the counter terror measures taken by the respective countries, the financial wing of the LTTE is said to have encountered a serious shortage of money to pay its cadres as well as to maintain the luxurious lives of its leaders. Thus, the sources said, the LTTE has increased its illegal tax collection activities and set up gangs to rob civilians to find funds for the outfit.
Defence observers say that the pilots' achievement would add on to the woes of the LTTE which is drawing nearer to its end. The enhancement of air arm and coordination among defence intelligence units have enabled the security forces to hit directly to the nerve centres without endangering civilians lives or properties, the observers added.

[well rasak the sln said one of the ship was carrying a bellet proof car for prabha/found out that the lightest
of these car being armoured plated will weigh at least 2.5 tons]

the ltte usually unload their main supplies into smaller boats at least 100 km from the coast line /if this car was
loaded on to the samller boat the boat will sink .

[one the ltte ship got away] now sln says ltte who were captured in maldives identified these ships]

[ltte attacked sla at karaithivu and according to sla report
they found a laser range finder that was left behind by ltte]

How do you know there were three ships, you got that details from defence.lk,
so if you believe that part of the story

but you do not want to believe the rest that is why you keep arguing saying only two ships sunk by SLN

Its OK as you will get some comfort from that

But VP and his gang did a big gamble bringing three ships at same time

If there is no third ship involved or they couldn?t catch the third, they will simply say they sink two LTTE ships that is the end of the story.

Well, in 1990's a shipload full of armament bought by GOSL vanished near Madagaskar..and that happened thanks to KP's smuggling network..For that, the LTTE used SHIP to SHIP smuggling...not ship to small boat...

And LTTE has small boats that could cary a car without running the risk of sinking..

Even tha 'palam Paru' in smal rivers in SL can transport vehicles such as cars and vans and busses..

So, you have no point there..
