According to SL folklore, a 'Bhairav' is a ghost, dead reincarnation. Folklore go on to say that when a King wanted to hide his fortune he did so at secret location and then summoned one of his loyal servants, and showed him the place and told that all this will be bequeathed to him after the kings death. Upon hearing this, the poor servant gets greedy for the treasure, develops an acute passion to get his hands on it, his whole heart and soul concentrated on this sudden luck and forgets everything tht is happening around him, at which precise moment the King's executioner beheads him then and there..
The servant reincarnates as a bhairav, who is a ghost and guards the treasure as if it's one of his own..
If a mortal wants to take the treasure, he should first satisfy the bhairav with something first..or risk being killed by the ghost..
So, bhairavs keep appearing and disappearing from time to time..
It's usual, acording to folklore..!! |

He banned me for calling Ruwani 'Desperate housewife'. It happened to Sivago, then Thivya, now me... It will happen to Sritharan who seemed to be another outspoken guy on this forum.
Well then it makes me even more certain she requires a boot, she was far ruder and insulting, let me give a sampling for those who missed it:

geez, I am sorry. I don't know what to say. You guys came out and supported this matter without these ethnic issues.

Yes JR ayya, very true. Most likely all the eelamists here combined would have donated around 300/= Rs. So they need to get their monies worth, imagine if they had combined about 20,000/= we will have to shout the word 'eeelam'.
Now poor Piyal too appologizes for her antics!
I am sure those who are calling themselves true Sinhalese and being such mean individuals to the others, don't know the moral values of Sinhalese in the first place.
So after all this why is only Raves banned? I leave it to the court of public opinion who was wronged here...

So childish way to behave in a public forum......be a man with a strong mind......how can be a Ltter like this...? You will cry in the battle field....
Ofcourse I know that Ruwani is raciest and she was banned onece or twice...but you have to be a man.......

She should not have provoked members on the thread with remarks like that, it was totally un called for, It was supposed to be a good cause ended up ugly with such comments.
There is a place for cuteness, and it was not the place!

then it is natural to make enemies.
I know many Sinhala members have been deleted from this forum either talking Politics straight or writing Buddhism.

AnuD she should have kept politics in the political threads then, NOT in the fundraising thread which we were all working as one in without any of that squabbling. |

I know what happened and who started and some members find her antics 'very cute', and encourage such behaviour, which was more shocking.
I don't think it's the right place, that my personal view, and I can understand your frustration, I didn't know that you got banned till today.
I also don't think asking the money back is right, although I understand your frusration. so lets bygones be bygones, At the end of the day, it's going to a noble cause. I hope you will be back, you are very straight forward guy and i admire that of you.
