If it is your view, i have no problem with that.
This ethnic problem started way before VP born, so do not try to blame it on LTTE.
Instead of addressing it what it happening here is attacking and killing Tamils in thier own land where they are born.
Why do not you people like you instead of arguing who killed most, Do something to change the Political heads of SL. Why they do not treat every one equal, why so called Sinhala only thing?

No, you've got it wrong .. it comes from 'Yapa-patuna' .. and it means 'the territory governed or administerred by the King's heir .. next in succession).
(In Sinhala terms .. territory governed by the 'yuva-raju'. You can see very clearly from the Sinhala terminology .. Jaffna was not a separate/independent kingdom .. it was the territory administerred by the Sinhala King's deputy .. or his heir).

Like I said before I am not a politician to implement what I think buddy. I do what I can do personally with my capacity than political involvement.

In any country there are accepted ways of assimilating to represent ones own people through ballet, and that what says and represent people's concerns.
Stopping war is mutual, not ordinary Sinhalese or Tamils want a war, who actually wants it? I guess its everyone's guess.

My comments were about the significance of the relic, There are people who worship objects for various reasons, it could be cultural or religious and that's their belief and I respect that, that's just my views.

Atleast so far no one is killed in the name of Hindusim in sl.

but in reality in sl people think and talk about budha not for compassion but for suppress the minorities.
