Let hypothetically assume just for the purpose of making a few happy ,not only the SLFP,JVP,JHU AND UNP ARE the monkeys but also the Tamils too and both monkeys are gaged in two separate gages.

now lets ignore the Tamil monkeys in the gage for the time being as they are not vested with lots of responsibilities and the sinhalese thought to be the best monkeys for the test.

now read the story and come back to answer the Q,

should not those monkeys named as the SLFP,UNP, JHU ,JVP sinna podiyans think , there is an other way to get out instead of beating anyone who try to cross the line only because the crossers got beaten up in the first place not knowing the reason behind it?

SriLankan1,

but you ppl parade unknown man's broken tooth all around kandy. And you ppl have yakka's too.

hey hey, thats not a nice thing buddy to say. Its not unknown man's tooth, its Lord Buddha's tooth. And I don't worry about Yakas, they are harmless and mostly it came South from India and in fact related to Tamil nadu culture so I guess you cannot just blame Sinhalese folks for that buddy :)

God save us as one of the seniors said here 'BOTH MR & VP ARE TAKING THIS COUNTRY TO A NICE RIDE'

Have fun....

Is not all this name calling coming due to frustration of 30 odd years of not getting anything for the LTTE pseudo-Tamils?

In fact Tigy, if I were you blindly supporting the LTTE I'd commit suicide by now for not only not getting anything but also losing more than 1/2 of it claiming land say the whole east is gone. That must be really heart broken.

I think Tigy, better be a good girl and stop this mumbojumbo and work for peace shall we? Its appalling that 14% want a part of the country, isn't it dear? It also shows that, that is way too ambitious than practical?

So learn to live with other fellows so you will not get all mumbojumbo.

SriLankan1,

Anybody can have hypothesis buddy, that is what you call democracy. Even if you ask why would I go to SriPada I may say Buddha was there once, but in reality I am not sure because I was not alive when He was alive. So you can say anything, but make sure the sensitivity of these things.

MAHINDA CHINTANAYA????..
US lawmakers express concerns over safety of Sri Lankan defense correspondent

The Associated Press
Published: September 8, 2007

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka: U.S. lawmakers have asked Sri Lanka's government to protect a local defense journalist, saying he faces danger after reporting on alleged corruption in a military warplane purchase, according to a letter seen Saturday.
Sri Lanka's government had been providing high-profile defense reporter Iqbal Athas with police protection for about nine years, but withdrew it last month.
The protection was withdrawn after Athas wrote in two Sri Lankan newspapers about alleged irregularities in the purchase of fighter jets from Ukraine, according to a letter dated Sept. 4 and purportedly written by Joseph Biden Jr., chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.
'I respectfully urge that security detail and police guard provided for Athas be fully and immediately restored,' read the letter, addressed to Sri Lanka's President Mahinda Rajapakse.
The Associated Press in Sri Lanka obtained a copy of the letter from Athas' family on Saturday.
