| I do understand the concerns of having a local presence, but considering it is SL we are better off we keep our good old politicos out from this process. We have started something valuable and we all like to see this continues. I guarantee you, these ppl will do the same when it is required again. Involvement of politicos can ruin the whole momentum as we gather as human beings and not as anybody else. |

If possible let them open a bank account and I can deposit a small amount every month, there will be many to do the same.
We should get the location of the familiy, I am planning to visit them in October when I go to SL next time,just to see how my small money has done a marvelous job.

I would like to pay my humble gratitude to wards Mr Brown & Lalith for letting me participate in this type of extremely great act !! and looking forward to see many more acts like these in the future , because we need to help these people( every one of them) because Politicians are only looking after themselves with millions...........
so why we continue with this great act of helping our people continuously, I know there are many families in overseas and sri lanka willing to contribute to a such kind of genuinely helpless people, so I wish you we can carry on doing this for long time, I really do, so as a Buddhist, I wish by doing this great KARMA all of you me including Mr Brown& Lalith will have a very bright vision in the future, more over will have more strength & courage to do more for the people who need our help.
I don't mind to go extra mile to help Sri lankans anywhere in the country, we all have duty to help these poorer people,

I FEEL SO PROUD TO BE A SRI LANKAN!!
Guys..what we have done as ONE Family no one can take away.
as for me i am glad God gave me a chance to contribute in a small way to a worthy cause!!

Please do not make this a Sinhala Tamil issue. I am sure if Mr.B saw a Tamil family like this on YOUTUBE he would have posted for discussion.
I am sorry if I sounded that way... I just wanted to point out the sensitivity of our society to these kind of things!
