This clearly shows that none of the Parties involved in this DIRTY WAR are prepared to give in. Probably a clash of
Races !. The killings at Akkaraipattu demonstrates that one party is clearly involved in continuing this Dirty War for selfish ends.

Freedom
But please do not present the Singhalese folks as an example, for a peaceful and well organized society.
Show me where I tried to present the Sinhalese as examples for a peaceful and well organized society??????
The Sinhalese are just like any other races....you have the good, the bad and the ugly.
The 83 riots saw the ugly side of the Sinhalese....caused by Sinhala thugs. The Sinhalese who tried to protect their Tamil brothers at a risk of their lives showed the good side of Sinhalese.
Every race has bad apples in them. But no bad apple from any race can be equated to Velus terrorism. No amount of white washing or apologies can wash away the blood stains of Velus handiwork....You just can't compare a bad apple to a stinking piece of excreta.

There are lots of decent Sinhalese and Tamils in Sri Lanka but some extremist like JHU and LTTE want them to become racists, read below news came on Sinhala net today, A monk is calling the Muslims as camel. Is he a monk? am not seeing a different between these Sinhala racists and LTTE thugs (These people's hearts are filled with racism but nothing else, 1000 tsunamis not enough to correct them)
?The Venerable Bibile Piyadassi Thero,Patron, Digamadulu Sihala Handa yesterday (Sept. 3) warned that in addition to the Tiger threat, a 'Camel' threat too is seen on the horizon in the wake of illegal land seizures in the Eastern Province. Ven.Thero was addressing a seminar organized by the Digamadulu Sinhala Handa(Voice of the Digamadulu Sinhalas) at the Urban Council Library Auditorium, Ampara. The seminar was titled, 'Let's guard the land won by warriors and build Sinhala power in the East.' The Ven. Piyadassi Thero stressed the need for consolidating the armed forces' gains in the Province where 54 percent of the land area belonged to the Sinhalas who built the country's civilization.? |

Kotia,
proportion amounting to 89 percent believe that the LTTE will continue as a guerilla force and be a threat to peace and security even after suffering a comprehensive military defeat. But the respondents did not want the war to continue, with 99 percent of them agreeing that the prevailing state of war should be ended as early as possible and security restored in all parts of the country.

In contrast to the red picture painted by extremist Asiatribune.com, Dr Jehan Perera of the NPC which in collaboration with MARGA conducted the polls conclude
The readiness of 72 percent of the Sinhalese and Muslim respondents to envisage a future in which the LTTE is part and parcel of a restructured Sri Lankan polity reveals the space that is available for arriving at a political settlement that has public backing. |
