Emperor:
In my opinion, a more useful tactic would be to
1. Chase away LTTE
2. Recruit locals for civil administration including police
3. Provide opportunity to local population.
4. Offer a lasting solution to prevent such ethnic wars in the future.
Those are the basic steps, but implementation is a monstrous task. |

GOSL should promote manufacturing inside the country.
For which domestic products would you see export markets, production facilities and skilled workers.
Even oranges, potatoes, kiwis and grapes have to be imported because of insufficient domestic activities.

GOSL defense personnels are protecting the country and the safety of people.
why are they in Norht and East , and they do not speak TAMIL ,if so , are they defending themselves from TAMIL ?
You give money to LTTE to kill us in that process tamils get killed too. LTTE are tamils
giving money or not giving not a question here ,but the whole thing started after 1983 , tamils failed secure anything from sinhala leadership the same story , but now they have got land to rule by themselves , but need to get more as justification .
btw:
DO NOT FORGET THE MUHAMALAI AND RECENT WANNI STRIKE BACK BY LTTE , BE PREPARED TO THE WORST , AS USUAL SLA WILL RUN LIKE HEADLESS CHICKEN TO ANURATHEPURE NOT TO VAVUNIA . |

| Losing coastal areas make it difficult for LTTE to smuggle arms. Effective coastal blockade and losing armaments in recent battles will certainly help disintegration of LTTE. Pretty soon, there will be internal conflicts on strategies. Internal rifts usually arise when resources dwindle. |

In war, you win some loose some. But, lately the trend has become obviously one sided. Apart from Muhamalai where local commanders made grave calculations, all other operations have been successful, specially when special forces are involved. LTTE sure feeling the pinch now. They will resort to their bread and butter terror attacks. |
