Among the recent SL leaders JR,SIRIMA,DB &RANIL dont have any corruption charges against them.But people under them did corruption.
Yes... Yes... I have heard these corruption charges from the the day MR came into power. Folks like you have very different agenda... in a nutshell 'to hell with the country.. armed forces .. and future... let's get into power by hook or crook...'
Some other pundits said with MR elected to power... Elaam pie in the sky.... would be landing sooner than later... hmmmm!

Only the dinkies are proud of war victories.
For my feeling most wars are fights between losers. Bush vs. Saddam. Saddam is finished, Bush has earned worst President ever, still sinking.
Saddam had failed to qualify for civilization with a lack of compromise and sorry to say, VP's global records do not read any better.
If in the end Mahinda's record will read better than Bush's?
Only time can tell.
Fact is, that both leaders have so far failed to make life any better for the Sri Lankans.
Some cadres shot dead and some jungle area conquered means very little in comparison to daily bills. |

My friend... I just returned from a visit to the island... the people there strongly support GOSL & MR... despite the hardships... because they appreciate MR's stand on LTTE.
Are you telling me that during the traitor RW period there were no fuel price hikes, COL hikes, corruption and RW Poshsanaya?
The country is on a new path... with visionary leaders introducing CHANGE... WE BADLY NEED!

What is your concept for the 30.000 cadres in this current war process ? What are you expecting from them ?
How will Sri Lanka financially survive with $2,5 billion p.a. for fuel imports. more than $ 1 billion interest rates for the $12 billion national debts.
Exports don't ever cover the bill for the other imports and Rupee keeps on falling with the Dollar.
I hope, Mahinda will eject enough wisdom to come up with striking answers.

finish off ? you are a good joker , why cant just they march into wanni and finish off ? cant eh ? you know the truth , 40,000 SLAs are under the range of LTTE artillery in jaffna , the army knows that for sure LTTE going for it , now panicked army goign left and right , the operation in mannar just waste of hardware , and worst they killed innocent civilian that is the style of sla , put the count on killed LTTE . but good or bad , Jaffna is the next , no way stop , 40,000 . |
