you might have a point but ltte is taking a huge risk by trying to launch large scale attack anywhere in SL these days... sea tigers are at their weakest...highly doubt major TAF action...
But with ltte...anything's possible... not that they care about their fighters or civilians...
On SLAF... puccaras did an admirable job those days as close air support... we had some great pilots who flew them at very low altitudes without fear of ground fire...and some paid the ultimate sacrifice for doing so :( a friend of mine died like that... hats off to those fearless brave warriors who left behind you children :(
like you say, It's not only our newer jets that gets job done but the human factor :) newer electronics also :)
coming months will show the new and improved slaf :) wait and see :) |

In addition to a police investigation into the matter the Sri Lanka Embassy has lodged a strong protest against this violation of its diplomatic premises to the French Foreign Ministry.
This shows how incompetent are our Foreign ministry officials..
Why on earth they are protesting?
FRENCH people didn't do this.
It was the LTTE thugs in France...
This IS a PR disaster for MR...
Instead of protesting, the Embassey must help the police in its investigation...
The thuggery won't work in International relations...
These Embassey officials should be sent to the School again..
What a disaster for SRI LANKA...

GOSL must recall the embassador to France immediately and sent him home...

Every modayas are under estimating the LTTE like they did in the past
One te truth of LTTE silence is that:
1.To win the IC support
2. In order to make a major offensive it should be well planned and should give the cardres training for their target
3. LTTE may launch a major offensive in coming days becuz it's a rainy seasson where the sla can't move their war hardwars like Tanks and etc.. Easily
4. LTTE LOst East in order to stay in one place North and to Take Jaffna becuz if they control East they will need more cadres
5. There Will be a bigger attack by LTTE in Any East or North defense line bwcuz Maveerar day is coming and Prapaharan must do something that ke promised during his last 2006 speech
so LTTE is not weak but grew stronger
Now with land,sea,air force and now equpied qill latest artellery which they can target Palalay and Kankesanthurai
SO the truth is LTTE going to Attack Jaffna or anyother part of the country in this rainy season |

$10.000 is a lot in Sri Lanka and also LTTE cadres are human beings who want peace, a tv, wife and kids.
With that money they could build a free future simply by bringing their gun and uniform to the nearest SLA collection point.
In addition some might be good police officers in the future. Wise governments always build on making friends. Having enemies instead, is costly. |

Yep... he has been delivering speeches for the last 30 years just making bogus promises to the brainwashed tamils. Nothing has ever happened rather than making destructions to the life of civilians especially to his own fellow citizens' aspirations severely. As I said before he would definetely attempt some coward attacks!

However the SLA had better medicine for the LTTE mad dogs in the front....
That is the only difference...
