SLA should not under estimate LTTE capabilitees...
They stil can pull out a 2000 like attack on FDL in Vauniya..
Needless to say it was to teach a lesson on the then Defence Minister, for some unknown reason to normal folks, SLA withdrew en masse from Vauniya FDL's.The one way to proove this theory is that while loosing less thretned FDL's in Vauniya, SLA put up a fight in Jaffna to everyones surprise..It was former Defence Minister of PA who really thrived on War during the second tenure of President Chandrika..It was a huge mistake by her to appoint this person once again as the Defence Minister in 1999..The operation Jayseekuru was the major burden on the SLA at that time which was very ill conceived idea of the Defence Minister..Jayasikuru killed over 2000 SLA men...The withdrawal in 2000 was a direct result of that.. .
It is better to refocus everytime SLA captures LTTE territory..There is always the possibility of LTTE attacking Jaffna using all their strength..
Please be prepared for this possibility..

If LTTE attacks Jaffna, it is most likely SLA will officially declare war on LTTE..
It is very difficult for the LTTE to mount an attack on Jaffna...
After 4 years of CFA, LTTE could not take Jaffna in 2006..
They use around 5000 caders for that operation. Atleast 500 LTTE fighters died...SLA lost around 300 men..
The attacks last year was their best effort..However, LTTE may be planning to use all their caders to attack Jaffna..
There is a 50-50 chance of this happening..
Velu is facing a daunting task...He must be weighing the success of this operation..It will make or break him.
SLA must be prepared for this..
