why can't the 25000 wipe out only 3000 LTTE Cadres in Wanni?
...they are in the process of doing so very succesfully...

Well your calculation in wrong the LTTE numbers is higher now estimated around 45000 to 50000 comparing to 1998 era where majar war in history Jayasikurai taken place where LTTE only had 10000 to 15000 Cadres
...actual number is 2,500 to 5,000. 50% are less than 18 years old. Those kids are not trained well too. When Wanni is attacked, they don't stand a chance againt the SL army.
SO you better understand it's hard for the SLa army to move in to Wanni where they have to Loose more soliders and weapons

Yep... guerillas are not able to confront face to face but have merely implemented a 'hit & run' theory. Therefore, it is understood that the SLA is unable to establish their military strategies in the right corner!
However, SLA have proved their abilities!
