where sla says that ltte infiltrated into this area after cfa 2002 and used the jetty at silawaturai to unload weapons fao ltte forces in wallipattu forest reserves
which has been infiltrated by ltte and who now controls an area of 350 sq km in that area .EVERY ttempt by sla to enter tHAT AREA has been thwarted.EVEN col senurewa died there in 08 /03/2007.[SO WHAT WAS SLA doing when these infiltrations were taking place.

Paris, 03 September, (Asiantribune.com): Sri Lanka embassy premises in Paris is attacked and damaged. The flag pole and the national flag too were destroyed on the early hours of Sunday, according reports.
Sri Lanka Embassy statement revealed that miscreants alleged to be involved in the acts of vandalism belonged to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.
This is the first time ever, a Sri Lanka diplomatic mission was attacked in a European country.
The LTTE miscreants attempt to damage the Sri Lanka's diplomatic premises in Paris is said to be a challenge thrown to the French Government under the leadership of President Nicolas Sarkozy.

I would like to see how long the GoSL manages to maintain its forces in the east.......... lets see which breaks the funfd or the will. Either way the door will be wide open for the LTTE to just walk in and take over.
Would any reasonable level headed govt. spend Millions defending a region with nothing big by way of income generation?
Bigger question can the GoSL afford to spend money it dose not have? |

Is this at the time of the Madhu festival? If so isn't it back stabbing the Catholics, in addition to the LTTE?
I thought they agreed to a peace zone and so on for the festival:))
What rubbish, I also go to church, God will be happy if this mess is sorted.
This is nothing to do with the Church its all about bringing lasting peace to Sri lanka |

The Nation' newspaper doesn't really support GoSL, does it?
I am not sure of this, but I think 'The Nation' is a paper connected to Mangala S....that's why at the beginning it was slightly pro-Govt, and now it's Anti-Govt.
Now, that's journalism for you......
