Dude, with all due respect, its none of your freaking business whether I drink Tea with milk or not. What does my drinking and 'milk consumption data' has to do with anything that is happening in SL today? |

But SL is a democratic country, The GoSL is of the people , by the people and for the people then the people make the government. If the Government is racist then the people must be racist.

In Sorry Lanka the common man is of no concern to anyone especially to the GoSL . The only time they are needed is during elections and thats that. Basically the common man is ill informed and thats the way the GoSL wants it.
Until the common man is informed and empowered this country is doomed. It will rot until the greedy politicians are rooted out.
I honestly do not know if this can happen in Sorry Lanka.
So until then the common man will suffer.
If anyone thinks the Country will develop if the country is at peace with the LTTE I will tell you IT WILL NOT.
The cause of all the problems in Sorry Lanka is not the people but the criminals they elect and put in the position of power.
In another way the people deserve the government they ellect. |

If you feel so much for the common man why don't you come back to SL and do some work. Whats stopping you? We live with the common man and are common men. So whether the milk prices sky rocket or not there is nothing much we an do. However, the price of milk is a small price to pay for annihilating the LTTE and its support base and with it any chance of splitting this country up. Seriously, you should come to SL and do some real work in the troubled areas of SL instead of all this hypothetical mumbo jumbo and peace preaching that most of you shamelessly do here.

SL embassy in Paris attacked
Monday, September 03,2007
PARIS: The Sri Lankan embassy premises in Paris was attacked in the early hours of Sunday allegedly by JVP & JHU activist, the embassy said in a statement, adding that the flag pole and the national flag too were destroyed. This is the first time ever, a Sri Lanka diplomatic mission was attacked in a European country.
