Is this at the time of the Madhu festival? If so isn't it back stabbing the Catholics, in addition to the LTTE?
I thought they agreed to a peace zone and so on for the festival:))

Initially, LTTE and GOSL agreed to not to do any fighting in MADHU area.
As soon as the festival was over, in charge of MADHU, who ever he is has given permission to LTTE to install Arillery guns there and operate.

At least 12 LTTE cadres have been killed during the offensive (the actual number may be higher than 12 as this is merely the number of bodies recovered by SLA)
Unnecessary loss of life. They could have surrendered and lived another day. Eelam ministry of sports will be in charge of SL olympics sprint and marathon events. |
