Tamils always wanted to compromise and live under unitary system but Sinhala elitists enacted illegal Sinhala Only, inhuman disenfranchise of upcountry Tamils, ethnic cleansing of Northeast and control of minorities. 50 years of terrorism set against the minorities resulted in destruction, deaths, misery and poverty. |

Most people with courage do something when being driven to the edge. Of course it is better to die than being caught by Sinhala sadists plying torture.
Some non-educated kids in the SLA also come across like child soldiers though they might be 18.
The effects of suicide bombers is not so very different from bombs on orphanages even with a bunch of Tigers in the cellar.
In fact arguing, that the hunt after soldiers can justify the death of little kids does not read very Buddhist.
