It is wrong to say one is superior to the other. Both are good fighters against ground targets, but it is the combination of these two aircraft that matters most.
Against a single engine light aircraft, manuared by an amature TAF pilot, both Kfir or Mig are inferior at the hands of a SLAF pilot!, it had been proved!

Cannot convince some donkeys in this forum by providing whatever proof of misconduct that procurement agency went through to purchase the outdated MIG Fighters to self-benefit rather than to fight the tigers.
Those idiots who defend this crime are divided between party line rather than ethnic. If they are for ethnic, they too would join to protest the illegal deal that endangers the life of the pilot who has a greater chance to be a sinhalese. This unfortunate pilot has to pay the dear life as a price and taxpayers billions of rupees for corrupt politicians and the general's illegal deal that paid them enough under the table.
Those who defend this are short-sighted and real stupids who are blind party supporters.

| I am writing this article with lot of disgust and shame. Simply the UNPs low tactics and politicising over the media the confidential arms deals which directly affects our security of the nation. I am now convinced this RW + LTTE sympathisers are trying to create a big issue out of this. i WAZ a staunch supporter of this party, but now i have realised all those votes cast for this guy is a waste of my time. Time has come to deal with this guy to be kicked out of the party if he is not ready for a graceful exit. |
