SF talks the truth..I also believe when he talks about ground situation and capturing/killing LTTE..I don't think I am going to listen to something that I wanted to hear..it is like Tamilnet sometimes people are happy and quote Tamilnet cos they hear what they want to hear..most of the time they will call tamilnet a Punnakku news..It is a Human nature.
I comdemn LTTE for using children as combatants and sending them in harms way. Happy?

Go to Menaka's thread and see how many feel sorry for her..I mean sinhala LNP members..Tell me why? How do you know she is talking the truth!! someone said she can't be there to kill the PM. who wants to target the PM? but still people felt sorry for her..why? cos she spoke against LTTE and that made most of the forum members feel for her..am I right?

Military connected information is kept confidential everywhere in the world. In US they are very secretly guarded. Related congressional committee would look in to some matters if there is a huge public outcry.

The Government of Ukraine has already ordered a probe into the MiG-27 deal. This is to ascertain why it was touted as a 'Government to Government' deal when in reality it was made through a third party - an unknown company named Bellimissa Holdings Ltd., which operated from a London address.
We are not tallking about discussing weapons systems in public.

Please read my post again. You were talking about resisting a select committee. I was trying to explain that the information given to a select committee in SL parliament won't be a secret anymore. Anyway you are going to get your select committee very soon.
Ok, how big should the outcry be?
Electrical Current can be measured in Amperes and height can be measured in meters. But I don't think there is any units of measuring public outcry. Regarding this case I believe there exists a UNP & LTTE related media outcry.

Why doesn't Mahinda simply explain who Belimissa Ltd. is and why the price for the MIGs had gone up that much despite no market at all for this outdated junk waiting for the dustbin in large leftover amounts from cold war days.

most people in the world would prefer to see the 10 - 20.000 cadres dropping their guns and walk to Colombo with their families demanding peace for Sri Lanka.
Most likely the majority of Sinhala and Muslims would join such efforts making these trash planes redundant.
VP and MR have entered this planet 100 years too late with their type of thinking.
BTW. From a sportive point of view TAF had been truly smart around that Cricket event. No civilans hurt and a great laugh all over the world thet LTTE spoiled the biggest Cricket night since ages.
Better than blowing up buses and killing innocent.
Sri Lanka needs to finish with them atrocities loving people fast.
