We are so going to talk simply. Tamil culture is Tamil culture. There is no fundamental difference between Sri Lankan Tamil culture and Tamil Nadu Tamil culture. Why you all guys try always to derive from the simplest of all simple evidences ?? Don't neglect the fact that the language is a medium for the culture and the civilization.
Your proud racist policemen burned all of our most valuable and rare OLA LEAVES writings in a single burning. It destroyed, erased, for ever, written evidence of the very early establishment of the Tamil culture/literature in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka?s World Cup winning captain Arjuna Ranatunge who is a staunch supporter of champion off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan does not think that Murali should waste his time on suing people like the former Indian captain Beshen Singh Bedi who called him the best shot putter in history.
Arjuna speaking to The Sunday Times said ?I do not think Murali should waste his time on chasing behind futile people like Bedi. It is well noticed that when he praises a person it is always an Australian and never even an Indian or a Sri Lankan. ?Either he has a kink on white people or else he is looking to get a work permit in Australia. He is clearly a publicity hunter when ever a Sri Lankan tour of Australia comes close he comes out with a statement of this nature. So what Murali really should do is to concentrate in breaking that World record and prove to that he is undoubtedly the best bowler in cricket history?.
The whole controversy surfaced when Bedi took a swipe at Murali calling him the best shot-putter in history. He went on to accuse Murali of killing the game. Bedi also said that even if Murali takes 1000 wickets, he would count them as run-outs. Bedi has been the biggest critic of Muralitharan and has time and again referred to him as a 'chucker'.
Meanwhile Muralitharan has sent a letter of demand to the former Indian left arm spinner Bedi claiming Rs.750 million or face a legal battle in court.
The Indian newsline Times also referring to the same issue quoted Arjuna as saying ?When a dog bites you, you don?t bite the dog? and also dismissed Bedi as a publicity hound and said ?Muralitharan should not be worried about an old man whose life is ending?.

Percy Mahendra Rajapakse equals to King Choranaga, says Ranil
(Lanka-e-News, 2007 August 18, 7.30 PM) Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe addressing the third 'Jana Rala' rally held in Anuradhapura yesterday said that Percy Mahinda Rajapakse, like the ancient King Choranaga who robbed 11 temples to utilize wealth for his comfort, is currently engaged in robbing Central Bank of Sri Lanka and other state banks for the comfort of the Rajapakse Brothers Company.
Addressing the over 30,000 participants of the rally, Mr. Wickramasinghe accused that President Rajapakse robbed Central Bank first and then the People-65533 s Bank, Bank of Ceylon and the State Mortgage Bank to extort money to nourish the Brothers Company.
Further, the Mig 27 deal reveals that the President has commenced to extort money from the defense budget as well, said the Opposition Leader.
Mr. Wickramasinghe said that a similar time was in the history in King Choranaga's time. In that period the King enjoyed luxurious life while the subjects starved as same as the Rajapakse Brothers Company does today.

Never the GOAL apologized the families that lost their children in the aerial bombings of the Sinclair of Valina, which killed 61 children and wounded 121. How many bombs do the Inhale/Saki air force used ? At least four were found by Tigers.
What monster can use more than 4*500 Kg of CH2(ONO2)-CH(ONO2)-CH2(ONO2) (Nitroglycerin) to kill children ??
Never I heard that GOAL apologized for it. But we all know who committed it.
Govt force killed 17 Gos Tamil workers the 02/08/2006. One year later, they still don't apologized for this crime. Even when all experts said that it was done by the Govt forces.
Do anyone understand why I will never trust the GOAL ??
Autonomy for Tamils is my personal dream for my children.
Because all crimes committed voluntary against Tamil population are done with impunities by the Sinhala govt/army.

Ok let admit that it is true, but never a human can bomb such badly affected children. Be it a Child Terrorist or Child Monk.
This barbarism can never be justified. If you justify it, for me you are a Terrorist, a Evil, a Satan, what you want !
Why GOSL never apologized for it ?
They still remain monsters.
P.S: We are living the century of Videos and Cinemas. Don't ask me about the evolution we did to make the film to become true as real.. All shorts of Hoax can be done easily. A video can not justify everything.. (In Sweden, the justice do not consider video as a proof, i let you guess why !!)

You are asking GOSL to apologize. How come you forget to ask LTTE to apologize for using vulnerable children for their war? I think LTTE must stop using children and then crying foul once the child combatants / trainees get killed. Once you are an active LTTER with weapons training, it is fair game. Sorry, many innocent lives were lost as a result. LTTE took their innocence away. Once trained, they are deadly enemies. I too wish the whole thing never happened.

| True barbarism is using innocent children for the war and giving them a weapon and asking to kill. After that anyone can get killed in the war because everyone is tryong to kill the other. Same goes for killing unarmed soldiers waiting for bus ride home for the vacation to see their families. Their kids too lost their fathers. War has no justice. Best thing is to stop the war. |
