As you say there are 'morons' ..
In fact there are two kinds .. one type which can hear, but cannot comprehend (the genuine 'moron'). And there is another kind .. which can hear .. has the intelligence to comprehend, yet who would 'place' a filter (or 'blind') deliberately, so as to 'block' that capacity to realise/understand. Believe, you belong in the 2nd category.
True .. the recent purchase of Mig-27s will save lives .. in the South, the North and the East .. if their effective deployment soon convinces the LTTE rank and file (if not their leaders), that they cannot win, and it is best to seek an 'honourable' PEACE.

Did you not know that the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki shortened WWII and saved millions of lives.
Scarring babies, children, feutises are justifyable horrors for a people who claim to have descended from man eating beasts. Instead of feeling ashamed of total annihilation you seem to be in bliss of destruction.

The US had thousands of jets, explosives, missiles and B52s and could not win in Vietnam against some poorly equipped Vietcong.
These MIGs will reduce and terrorize the Tamil population, eventually trouble some LTTE units, but for certain that will trigger more hate, more bomblasts in the South.
That's why i am not sure about saving lives.
How about MR and VP sit down on a table and start discussing plans how to develop Sri Lanka asap.
They had managed to agree on this election swindle to outsmarten Ranil. So why not deal again. They must have exchanged phone numbers in 2005.
All these killings are pathetic and a disgrace for the human race in the year 2007, similar to that middle east mess or some African horror zones.
Why can't Sri Lankans simply tell their great leaders 'enuff' to escape that current image created by all kinds of atrocities, corruption, begging, arrogance and crime.

Yes, I sincerely hope that the day will come when all capable people like the famous TIN CAN ENGINEERS will be able to dedicate their know-how / competencies / skills to something positive / constructive for this beautiful island. This country has a lot of capable human resources and the environment has to change (peace) to motivate them to stay here and do positive things.

Bomb kills and those atomic bombs killed millions instantaneously and aftermath.
Americans also killed Vietnamise with chemical and Biological weapons that they claimed they invaded Iraq to look for. They bombed more than 20 countries and killed millions. In Iraq and Afghanistan they use their outdated weapons so that they can make more modern ones.
Europeans used smallpox infected blankets to wipe out Arericans natives. They do not feel for the sufferings and pains of victims. That is why they help Sri Lanka to kill the minorities. |
