Please don't wait for miracles. It doesn't exist.
When their pretext is LTTE's destruction, the real destruction is Sri lankan people (Tamils) and Sri lankan nation.

The SL press and the politicians are giving more flak than the enemy to the SLAF
If someone is not keeping an eye on large deals any government does, (especially a govt like the present GoSL) opposition politicians would not be doing their job.
Politicians questions needs to be answered by politicians.
But nobody believes GoSL politicos anymore.
Therefor they have to drag in all kinds of apparently independant individuals - professionals, pilots, other officers and analysts to do their political mud fights.
May be MIG 27 is a clean deal - then why did they hide for so long, and resisted a select committee.

Sinhala civilization closest civilization from the beginning to now is the Tamil one. Please don't ask me if we are different.

Tamil culture is more than 2500 years old.
This could be in thamilnadu.Could you name any tamil king lived in SL 2500yrs ago.
King VIJAYA was an indian king.But he didnt bring his nation from India.His nation was the inhabitants of SL.As a king he introduces some changes to the oroginal inhabitants.We were renamed as sinhalese as we renamed ceylon as Sri lanka. |

Military connected information is kept confidential everywhere in the world. In US they are very secretly guarded. Related congressional committee would look in to some matters if there is a huge public outcry. But weather the members are republicans or democrats is not a big deal since it's accepted that they wouldn't leak anything important. And the public wouldn't know anything until pretty late.
In our case everybody knows the composition of our Parliament. TNA is the terrorist arm. Thonda's and Chandrasekaran's people would do anything for money. There are some members in UNP, SLMC, and SLFP would fall in to the same category. UNP and SLMC would do anything for power. So can somebody believe these people would safeguard the secrets of the nation? Then he is greatly mistaken.
