I f you closely observe the people who are oppose to this aircraft procurement deal are interlinked either through coincidence or through some other way. Why should LTTEs should make a huge issue ? Its because the MIG deal has certainly resulted in inflicting heavy losses accurately on identified targets. i want to know whether RW will dishonour payments if he come to power again in this life...........in the next.or will he handover these to LTTE Air.

I'm not sure about kickbacks or shady deals .But, GOSL needs a strong ,modern Air Force to deal with a ruthless terrorist organization like LTTE. I hope any person with some common sense will agree with me .

Cheers,

LTTE diehards will bite the dust..
The redcross workers killed by the Tamils and blamed on Sinhalese

Breakthrough in Red Cross killings probe
In a major breakthrough, Police have identified a prime suspect in the murder of two Red Cross volunteers whose bullet-ridden bodies were found in Kiriella following their abduction in Colombo on June 1.

Human Rights and Disaster Management Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe disclosed to the media that Police investigations point to the involvement of a gang led by Sivakanthan Vivekananthan alias Charan in the killing of Sinnarasa Shanmugalingam (32) and Karthekesu Chandramohan (27) from Batticaloa. The slayings shocked the local and international community.

Charan is still at large. Samarasinghe called for public assistance to trace and nab him. There is a reward of Rs.1 million.

Have you closed your laundry so soon?

Who supports your laundry? Kumar Rupasinghe, Sunanda Deshappriya, Bahu or Ranil?

he must have built the flying bicycle with bamboo sticks and paper.

Obviously you have not heard of Ray Wijewardene .. pioneer agriculturist and innovative engineer. He is credited with having invented the 'Land-master' type tilling machine .. later copied my manufacturers in Japan, and other countries.

His 'Bumble-bee' .. an auto-gyro .. rather like the Bensen auto-gyro .. may not have been an 'original' design. There was one brought-out by a Wg Cdr Wallis (UK), earlier .. very similar. I am prepared to believe, the 'Bumble-bee' was built on plans obtained from Wallis. Nevertheless, it is true .. he built a very 'air-worthy' auto-gyro in his home work-shop. Only assistance he had (as told by him), came from his driver-mechanic. (Yes, he too was Sinhala .. believe his name was 'Pabilis').

Then why are those intelligent eelam modayo asking for a part of that?

Not asking part of that. Only asking to vacate the occupied land. When British captured the island, there was a Kingdom in Jaffna. When they leave, they gave the Jaffna Kingdom freely to state terrorists. Now, tamil people suffer to get back their own land.

Your intelligence only in copying courseworks and glass printing!

What a tall story!! A very tall story indeed.

This is the tallest ever story to appear on LNP. The taller the story the more they manage to hide. Deception at its best.

A tall story told by the SL defence top brass in order to hide the gigantic corrupt deal they made.

Steal from the poor taxpayer and fatten your already fat bank account. This is sinhala patriotism at its peak.

There are many sinhala apologists on this forum condoning this act of treachery against the country and its long suffering poor people.

No wonder the tamils want to live apart.

LankaTileke is right. The possibility of at least assembling it here should be studied.

An amusing thing just crossed my mind. The day the LTTE guys are jobless, SLAF could make an offer to the famous TIN CANE ENGINEERS up there in the Vanni to lead this project!!
