We need more evidence on this serious matter. Should not shoot from the hip.
Strategist he isn't backtracking on anything old boy, and what evidence do you seek? 30+ aid workers were killed in your fake terror state, one of the highest in all of the world.
Thus Sri lanka is one of the most dangerous places in the world for aid workers.

UN Humanitarian Affairs Chief John Holmes expressed regret that a single ?phrase? he used in an interview with Reuters had attracted disproportionate attention threatening to distort or overshadow the rest of the visit and the discussions with the Government.
He said he was not trying to imply that the Government was not concerned about these issues and not trying to protect humanitarian workers ??but simply referring factually to the terrible incidents that had taken place and the need to step up even further all our efforts to prevent such things in future.
That was my consistent message throughout,? Mr. Holmes said.
According to daily mirror he is regretting it. What SL government has to do is accept it and go forward from there.

Jeyaraj Fernandopulle is a Tamil who tries hard to hide his true identity. He is only working very hard for his bread and butter from his Sinhala masters in the same way Kathirgamar did. He has to prove that he is a hardcore Sinhalese then others.
When will he change his name to Ven Fukathero Fernando. |

This is mainly because seventeen humanitarian workers were killed in a single incident in Muttur, said the spokesman.
If the government is accusing LTTE for the massacre, as it had done in the past, why it is now blaming Holmes... In terms of facts what Holmes said was true.
GOSL should have said 'yes Holmes is right, Sri Lanka had been one of the most dangerous places for aid workers, because LTTE is the one who killed them'. GOSL attitude makes any independent minded to assume that GOSL is guilty of the crime and just blaming UN and Holmes are making the GOSL Modayas a laughing stock of the world. |
