Yes,, they have been made refuges by govt, and helped by INGO's. Govt is getting the aid and spending a little. thats the story. |

We are talking about the period when ACF was implementing post-tsunami projects in Muttur, right? When I was in Muttur in 2005 and February, April and July 2006, it was NOT under LTTE control
If you were in the Mutur area, at the tmes you mention .. then you would know more about the population distribution, than I do. You are the best person to answer this question.
With a larger number of destitute Muslims in Mutur (as you maintain), why were'nt there any Muslims amongst the aid-workers hired by ACF ? To me it would be logical for the aid-worker composition to vary with the population you are trying to serve. With a larger Muslim population affected by the Tsunami (in Mutur), there should have been more Muslim aid-workers than Tamil, with this NGO. Where-as, there were none. Very strange, I hope you can explain.
(The investigation into this murder .. which must be condemned in the severest manner, and if at all possible the cuplrits 'brought to book' .. should also look into the 'operational' aspects of this NGO. We may then have better picture, as to whether the Muslims of the area could have nursed a 'grudge' against ACF, which could have led to this killing).

Years back more horrors took place. Anti-Muslim riots in 1915 with hundreds killed.
This is the only country where even the prime minister was killed by a Sinhala Buddhist monk in yello robes. What a shame to the barbarians who never realise that they are responsible for all the mess, destruction and killings. Their security forces murdred 60,000 young innocent youths in the South, all because of ignorance and inhuman behaviour. |

Aerial bombing to kill school girls is NO better than suicide bombing. Bombing is to kill people and destroy properties. Those who support one type of massacre and condemn another are terrorists themselves. But those who lost their senses and read, hear or see their propagandist media financed by the govt money bombing school children and abducting innocent youths are acceptable crimes.

Govt and the president must stop terrorism at once and find out who are responsible for the human rights violations of last 19 months. Who else is responsible for those crimes unleashed after his election victory?
