Rascism and its consequences in LNP

I have been writing a few articles pertaining to the mythical `Tamil Homeland` concept and so many views have been thrown at and none better than the following by a handle named `CholaPandyan`. Please read and decide!
`If you go back in history, Sri Lanka was divided into 3 countries with 3 kingdoms, and one of them was Tamil where the Tamils are the majority even today. This Tamil part (country) belongs to us, and we will never let a Sinhala to walk freely in our land without a valid visa`.
The aforementioned is just one of his views. You can clearly see how much racial hatred towards the Sinhalese was thrown here. Imagine that there were to be a state called `Tamil Eelam` would there be anything fair for the minority Sinhalese in those areas?
I write and you decide what would have happened to the Sinhalese?

This is why the innocent Tamils get a bad name. The racism of this 'CholaPandyan' guy through out in my articles is exuding. He keeps saying the same brainwashed stuff.
I really feel as long as this type racism prevails it is really hard to make any constructive efforts to racial harmony. |

One can be vitiolic in his speech and comments but that doesn't mean he/she is a racist as you know. I am strongly against the LTTE terrorism but I am not against Tamils there is clear difference between racism and terrorism. If someone says that the other one needs to have VISAS to enter that area, that is discrimination and that is why I have quoted this handle 'cholapandyan' as a racist.
I think that kind of comments would not help racial harmony. |

i dont like what this person wrote either, but racism is something that cant be eradicated so no point dwelling on it here. unforunately it is everywhere and among all communities and cause of many of the problems.

i dont like what this person wrote either, but racism is something that cant be eradicated so no point dwelling on it here.
Correct! I agree.
The fact is racially motivated matter would not help to form bridges other than tarnishing good relations among different races no matter how different their political views are. |

There are many here and around the world who stir a lot of muck for the masses. LNP is defineitly not the only place.
I would still sit back and enjoy the mud slinging with a glass of wine. Sine I enjoy it more, rather than trying to make the world a better place when the leaders we choose to do that job seem to be doing zilch. |
