Jeewaka,

Thanks for the interesting post. Some of the stories circulating about MR and Co are certainly fabricated, as you have shown in your post.

your thoughts on the MIG deal? I'm not sure whether to believe this or not....looks fishy though

These old MIGs will come down fast anyway and Mahinda can order some fast replacement from his Ukrainian Maffia friends who also have nice girls in Colombo.

These blondies service Sri Lankan politicians and upper class at a rate of $200 per hour because they are so much better in bed than Sinhala girls.

With his $1.3 billion defense budget the great Mahinda family is now spending $13.000 p.a. on each of the 10.000 Tigers.

Contridiction after contradictions

When you assume it makes an ass out of You and Me....
Don't know if you get what I mean but I suppose I could try.

Just for the fun of it dose anyone know how the Rajapakse brothers lived before Mahinder became President?

Another work pf the RAjapakse and company...
The Kotahena Police have arrested one of the two suspects involved in the abduction and murder of a young engineer, Wigneswaran Mahodaran at Kotahena a few weeks ago. Inspector Niranjan Abeywardena of the Kotahena Police said they were able to arrest the suspect as he was wearing a talisman which belonged to the murdered engineer.

The two suspects Seelan and Kannan had associated with the family of the murdered engineer over a long period of time, Kotahena police said.

The suspects had repaired some grills at the engineer?s house. They were heavily in debt and had won the confidence of the engineer, who had returned recently from India.

Police said the engineer was abducted when he was returning from the St. Anthony?s Church, Kochchikade with his father. One of the suspects had come on a motor cycle and had taken the engineer on the pillion to Puwakpitiya, Avissawella, where the other suspect had been waiting. He was kept at an estate labourer?s quarters while one of the suspects had gone back to Kotahena to find out whether the family of the engineer was looking for him.

It was reported that the engineer was strangled with a wire and killed on the estate and afterwards the suspects had telephoned the family and demanded for 5 million rupees to release him.

The family was reported to have received several telephone calls from the suspects demanding the sum.

However, the father of the engineer, a dental surgeon, had complained to the Kotahena police and by the time the complaint was made a person who had seen the engineer going on the pillion of one of the suspects had told the police about it.

But the two suspects had gone with the father of the engineer to the Fort Police Station and said that the engineer was abducted by an Army Officer at Galpoththa. But the police who became suspicious of their behaviour had kept on questioning them till their doubts were confirmed

A long-standing bitter feud between two LTTE top guns, Sea Tiger leader Soosai and intelligence chief Pottu Amman has resulted in their loyalists going all out to eliminate one another in Norway.

Yesterday, they clashed in Oslo causing the death of one LTTE activist and sending shockwaves through the beleaguered organization. The LTTE leadership has failed to reconcile the warring factions and more retaliatory attacks are feared in Norway, according to Oslo based sources.

One LTTE cadre was killed and two others were seriously injured when two rival groups of the LTTE?s Vanni Faction clashed at Oslo on Sunday evening, agency reports said yesterday.

?Selika? Ranjan of Mullativu succumbed to his injuries and two others, namely Kannan and Kuhan are reported to be in a serious condition in hospital with gunshot injuries, Oslo based sources said

The injured had sustained wounds due to Samurai sword cuts.

Reports revealed that clashes erupted between the supporters of LTTE?s Naval Commander Soosai and cadres from the intelligence wing led by Pottu Amman.

The Oslo police was notified by witnesses about the running fight between two LTTE factions at 5.50 Sunday evening. The clash, between the two LTTE groups, started at a supermarket, at Kaldbakken in Oslo and ended outside a house at Gårdsveien 2, the AT report said.

The two who sustained severe injuries are receiving treatment at Ullevål University hospital. One of the victims sustained both a pistol shot injury and a deep cut from a Samurai sword.

The second victim was found in his underwear with a sword on a nearby football field. He had been shot in the chest at Nordtvetveien.

According to hospital sources, both victims had lost a large amount of blood.

Another victim, who was driven over by one of the men who escaped in a car is receiving medical care. Reports revealed that he sustained minor injuries and is in stable condition.

Police recovered a few murder weapons, one sword and a pistol.

According to the police, ten were involved in the clash.

Three persons in a BMW motorcar were detained by the police at the ESSO petrol station at Kaldbakken in Oslo.

The police are looking for a VW Caravelle and a Red car which sped away from the crime scene.

Some of the suspects? names are known and are expected to be arrested soon. According another source, there was a total of 15 men in the clash in addition to the injured.

Another clash between the two rival factions near the Hindu Temple in Oslo where nearly 3000 people congregated for a 10-day annual temple celebration was reported on Saturday.

Tamils, the Police have spoken to said, that Sunday?s fight was preplanned. The Tamils also said that yesterday?s fight had nothing to do with the earlier clashes at the Temple, the AT report added.
