As one has said just go to east and feel the difference.
We experience our life in agony and you being a previlged and supremacist enjoy life. Our house was razed to the ground by the army. We spent Rs.45,00,000 in 1982 and the govt may give a maximum of Rs.100,000 which is not enough to buy just the sand. The cost of living has gone through the roof. We are a poor country and yet nobody knows why the army, navy and airforce destroy houses. We have to beg from other countries to rebuild them.
We have to go through many hurdles. Karuna men are waiting near the airport protected by military intelligence and the informations are passed on by the airport authorities, how else do they know which hotel the new arrivals stay? Some of my friends have gone to SL on urgent businesses, few paid ransom and others escaped back. You don't want me to get caught by these inhuman beasts?

Your point is wrong. The new arrivals to SL are checked in a serious manner. you can not say that karuna's group
Any way I got two things from your essay
1. You were really rich. Actully I am very poor. I do not have Rs.100000. bUt in 1982 you had 45 laks.
Do you have any proof to show that your house was demolished by the SLA. If so it is really a pathetic and I feel sorry. But if it was done by LTTE, what is your point. The bombardments of colombo central bank which is billion dollars worth. You must answer those too.
2.you are not going to Sl due to the fear of karuna. which implies you are a VP supporter. Other wise why are you so panic. karuna does not want to kill any tamil. |

Do not insult religions. it shows your bad vision as well as your low level. Have you ever noticed in this forum that some one is blaming to the Hinduism.
JHU, a racist Sinhala Buddhist political party of monks declared that Tamils and Muslims have no right to this country. What more do you want to show that Sinhala Buddhist moks insult the minorities. No Hindu has ever said anything resembling this rubbish. Hindus want all the communities live in peace, have they ever said anything otherwise? Nobody insult any religion, Buddhism is a great religion, Buddhists are great civilised people, there are 1000s of friendly Sinhalese live in Sri Lanka, but many Sinhala Buddhists ( a result of a dangerous fusion of Sinhalese and Buddhism) is the destructive force in Sri Lanka. For example, water is good and Sodium or Potasium are good in themselves but let the Potasium and water to react, you get explosion, that is what you get from Sinhala Buddhism, destruction of lives and properties in Sri Lanka. |

How can you be so certain? I am sure he and some from the police force have made billions already from abductions and extortions. Do you mean to say those Muslim and Tamil Businessmen kidnapped in and around Colombo are LTTE men or supporters? Don't you read the mirror and The Leader? |

NGOs are reputed for honesty and they have intergrity. They blame those who commit crimes against humanity. They criticised US, UK, Kenya, Israel and so on. You must read their reports on the human rights violations of US and UK before reading that on Sri Lanka. You can also read the Report of the Presidential Truth Commission to have some idea of how Sri Lankan media manupilated the events in July 83 to rouse the anti-Tamil pogroms. Most Sri Lankan media are biased and racist. Because you read them your views are also biased, racist and irrational.
There is no country like Sri Lanka where a problem vreated in 1956 by Sinhala nationalists are dragged on and on for the last 50 years with destruction of lives and properties.
The other governments have criticised SL leaders and govts but for selfish reasons US is not taking a drastic action against SL. US wants airport and Seaport facilities to bomb other countries. Japan wants trade and for them human lives mean nothing as is evident from how they tortured the prisoners of war during WWII. Pakistan also a terrorist country which used Colombo to refuel its bombers to bomb its former province, East Pakistan, and now reaping its karma.
Don't look at Tamils through LTTE glasses. Most want to lead a normal life which is not possible under rearmed paramilitaries and SLA. No people in any part of the world have led a normal life under the army occupation for more than 13 years, that too an alien army which cannot speak the language and live in fear. Look at my page to find out the latest report on disappearances, numbering more than 4000. Local HRC is manned by members of all 3 communities and is a realible body. |
