Latest Harry Potter story
Elephant Pass (Aanai Iravu in Tamil) was used as a route for trading, and, elephants were used to take goods across the shallow, salty waters. The name Aanai in Tamil means Elaphant.
Aryan invaders arrived from the thick jungles southwest of it and started attacking the traders and elephants, looting, and setting fire to the men.
The news was received the next day and the Srilankan Tamil military set off to battle.
At this, a south indian kingdom sent its army to invade Jaffna. Intelligence sources knew this and immediately informed the Emperor of Jaffna.
The Strait between India and SL was shallow and there, a civillization was set up for trading, which was lined by thick mangrove to keep out the water.
SL.Tamil ships used the flame throwers aboard their shis to burn the mangrove and at the middle of the sea, the water poured in, killing hundreds of enemy soldiers.
Enemy Ships came, but were no match for the Srilankan Tamil navy.
The battle was won and more than 400 aryan invaders were killed inelephant pass. A base was built there for protection, which was upgraded many times by the Dutch and Europeans, and then by Srilanka into the Elaphant Pass garrison, which was captured by the LTTE in the year 2000.
During the2004 tsunami, the ancient buildings were seen.

'that must be the reason our CJ is famous for his laisons with multitude of ladies :)' - Pera

Thats what Indra Si(l)va did. And the Portugese did. And Thondi does.

We are all descendents of a mixed gene pool. People who talk about pure race are lunatics.

By the way who cares if the Tamils came first or the Sinhalese came first. This is very childish.

here in UK, lecturers and senior lecturers have to apply to many research councils like Welcome trust to get grants and funding for their research. It is a lot of effort as they compete with many other scientists, so many rejections and take lot of time to acquire funds. In SL you get the funds straight from the government, so less administrative work.

I'll check your publications soon, you should actually put your publicaitons on your member space.
