Where ever Sinhala Buddhists live there is no peace but destruction and killing. Look at Sri Lanka.

Where ever Tamils live there is peace, prosperity and harmony. Lookmat India, Singapore, South Africa and Muarecious.

Nirupam,

You being a hardcore racist DO NOT want to admit that those in Colombo are either temporary tenants scared of army abductions in the NE or people bought their houses with their OWN money.

You have easily forgotten for how long these temporary tennents live there. Colombo has been a multi ethnic district and a fitting tribute to Sinhalese for living in peace and harmony.

In fact who own 'Sirasa' a Tamil, who is he getting money from? Sinhalese. Do we fight? NO.

You call me a racist for saying the bitter but hard facts, if that makes me a racist, so be it.

FYI, Sinhalese have the right to live in any part of their country for that matter he/she doesn't need second opinions ok. This is exactly why we want to create a peaceful environment in NE and then let all the people move freely. If you and any Tamil can live in other areas than NE why can't the Sinhalese live? You are a pathetic RACIST!

Berty, I share Damayanthy's sentiments and I live in SL. I don't complain anymore. Life is tough. But thats the price we pay. Its better to be here and suffer than live abroad and talk out of our backsides.

if you have said it well..i wouldn't have made that comment..Dammi is not in SL and so is Kamani Nangi and a lot of us..How can we make a decision on going through hard times in SL when we are not there..I am not sure what stops you from asking Dammi the same question i fired!..well you won't cos they are your kind..isn't it!!

Moby please understand the gap between rich people like you and the real poor family is HUGE..if your saying Life is Tough just imagine the poor in the south..That is the difference they are looking for someone else to lead the country..

U saw AGP saying cigarettes and Rs 300 made them to flock at the opposition rally..That is the first sign of economic hardship..

Kamani,

You may suffer from dementia as you cannot differenciate between the govt sponsored colonosation schemes in the Northeast and Tamils/Muslims living in Colombo by paying rents. Sinhalese get govt money to settle in the NE whereas minorities use their money to live in rented accommodations or purchased houses.

Are you capable of understanding the difference between colonisation schemes and buying or renting properties? Of course you pretend you do not know the difference.

Nobody has any objections for any Sri Lankan to buy his/her property in any part of Sri Lanka and live. You try to confuse people by pretending buying and freely giving are the same. If you understand things as they are and not as you distort them to be you will understand that you and the govt propagate naked racism.

I agree, even though we live abroad we help the country by sending our cash to the mother land so in a way we help them. My husband wants to send money to the SLFs and I agree with him too. I think if the diaspora sends money to kill our innocent people we have a duty to help our forces who protect us from terrorists.

I am in SL, I have quite lot of friends and family in the 3 forces and the Police and trust me, the boys are rearing to have pieces of Tiger hide. Cant keep the moderately injured ones off the battlefield

well..ru ever going to tell us your friends and family in the forces are unhappy and want to run away..no mate..u can't do it in a forum when your a Sinhalese..but trust me..there are plenty in Hong Kong asking for asylum..I am talking about deserters!!

recently as early this month you even came across of a fake abduction of a sinhalese..why is that buddy..why do they fake to get a to a foreign country..

Thanks for sharing my sentiments! It is really a pleasure to know true Sri Lankans who live in and love their country, unlike the hypocritical Tamil diaspora who shed crocodile tears but never ever think of living in this land, but creat problems and capitalize them for their own personal benefit, to support their wretched lives in the west (and of course in HK!)!

can i ask you a simple question?

u admire the families who have someone in the forces!! I am not sure whether they are the first line of defense or like big shots ..U know what i mean!! why do you think poor people send their kids to fight?

Pls tell me if you have a son who is say in the early 20's will you send him to fight for the country..Tell me the truth..u will rather leave the country and save him rather than let him fight..i know your going to ask me the same question but i will answer you once you answer me..
