plz understand that mano ganeshan and maheshwaran leading tamil politian in colombo district got lessthan 60000 preferential votes in past general election(2004).
What's your point? Don't you know even the tamils don't vote the same person.
Remember than many tamils in Colombo voted for the Sinhalese Presidential candidates. |

In fact there are no large cities in the whole of Sri Lanka that are mono-ethnic except those in the
North and especially in the Vanni. So who are the rascist chauvinsts and ethnic cleansers? Any ideaz? Anyone? |

Ranil has been the highest in Colombo district and many Tamils vote for him. But he is ethnically Sinhalese so your point doesn't justify |

30 years we were under foreign influence when ever we got rid of the majority of the problem because the terrorists cried for foreigners intrusion on us. Now we keep them happy with the CFA while doing our business nicely. Do you know majority of the Colombo district is Tamils and Muslims and do we complain and nag about that? NO
You being a hardcore racist DO NOT want to admit that those in Colombo are either temporary tenants scared of army abductions in the NE or people bought their houses with their OWN money.
In the East and North Sinhala governments sponsored colonosation schemes providing lands and houses free in order to alter the ethnic ratio of Sinhalese speaking to Tamil speaking poputaion. One such scheme was in Vavunia from where the army is moving people to lauch an attack on Tamil areas.
Sinhalese are the majority and hence there is no need to grab more and more lands except, of course, to Sinhalamise the whole island as Europeans did in America, Australia and Newzealand in order to marginalise the minorities.
