Let me phrase it correctly - the ancient Buddhist archaeological sites in the East will be restored to their glory, after the LTTE vandalized them....
What's wrong with Sinhalese setting down in East. They are merely going back to the place they belong, after the terrorists drew them off. Hark, do I hear the Tamils complaining of a pluralistic, multiethnic society?

Military found a SAM missile. AGP claims it is USD 80k worth. Therefore the encounters between SLA and LTTE should be driven by a long term and uncompromising strategy --But definitively not driven by theatrics.
$80k is very little compared to assets lost by both sides.
And it is nothing compared to money to be made as a result of war for both VP and other commissars on GoSL side.
This $80k number that has been wagged about by AGP carry no argumentative value.

Most Tamils here are pro ltte chauvinists interested only in an ethnically pure Tamil homeland. I dont see any Sinhalese going against the presence/migration of Tamil civilians to Colombo and other citites in Sri Lanka and yet they refer to Sinhalese as chauvinists...ha ha ha...
