It seems pilot premnat doesn't even know the basic history of Sri Lanka. The Sinhalese were actually Tamil Buddhists, who took separate racial identity and this was encouraged by the overzealous Tamil Buddhist monks who escaped death in Tamil Nadu after the Saiva renaissance - bhakti devotional period. There were mass conversions of Tamil Buddhists back to Saivaism during that time.
The main reason the Tamil blooded Sinhalese left Anuradhapuram and Polanaruwa kingdom was malaria. The mosquitoes were thriving in that dry climate with lakes and ponds. Malaria didn't spread much in Jaffna due to lack of rain and stagnant waters. The Sinhalese couldn't figure out the connection between Malaria and the mosquitoes. Sinhalese had also pushed back to wet and hills side to escape from the invading Tamil Emperors from South India.
Even the Sinhala Buddhist fiction Mahavansa says that Duttu Gemunu had to fight against 36 Tamil chieftains in Anuradhapuram principality more than 2000 years ago, before confronting Ellalan (Elara).
How could it be possible to have more Tamil Chieftains in Anuradhapura than the Sinhalese, if Tamils weren't the majority at that time in Anuradhapura. The Sinhalese are just twisting and destroying the true history of Sri Lanka to suit their narrow minded Sinhala Buddhist Chauvinism.

Maids rush to Saudi
More than 225,000 Sri Lankan workers leave to Saudi Arabia every year and 52% of this number are women and 40% of the total number are domestic maids according to the Foreign Employment Bureau (FEB). There has not been a lull in this trend despite recent news that more Sri Lankans are facing execution in Saudi Arabia.

No Sinhala leader has ever honoured any agreement to resolve the problem.
TWENTY years after the signing of the historic Indo-Lanka Peace Accord, to a section of the population it appears to be an obsolete agreement, rendered further redundant by the recent de-merger of the northeast whilst to some, it remains the only agreement that paved the way for devolution of power in Sri Lanka.

Sinhala Modayas know only how to fight among themselves... thats one of the main reasons that Tamil kings could establish kingdoms in the North.
SLFP and UNP Modayas will never be able to give a solution to Tamil problem... we Tamils should use this historic opportunity to re-establish our own form of government in the North, as was done by King Ellalan!

This proved that Tamil kingdoms existed for centuries in NE of the island... It exists today too... all we need is recognition! 'No rocognition,' the fighting will continue!
