as i said, the stories on the trains, that is not what i saw. I was not living at that time, it is what i heard from others.

I know you were not born at the time but trust me I left college in 1976 and i travel to Hatton where my parents lived every holidays. That means taking the Train!!

there were probably isolated incidents, but Nale also had few stories about what happened on the trains. but I dont think people would make those stories up though.

There is no need to make any stories but i have no reason to lie too..it did not happen during the time I lived in Jaffna.

Do remember that there was a lot of violence against Tamils before 1983.

There is one possibility that was after the 1977 riots..but it has to be isolated incidents..

	Hi Berty Anna! Becareful our 'Admin Regie' is thoroughly annoyed! very sad to see the LNP just become another chat room instead of a productive discussion form. There 10's of senior members who have reached 1000's of post but most of them looks like just chat room transcripts with no productive thoughts at all.

I asked my dad about the rally he said. They didn't know much about it since they have rallies every day it was a daily routine. it seems they are not aware as we know about sri lanknan things. he says you people abroad get confused you read too many news papers. what he says is chandrika came to power saying talking peace did nothing war but survived for 12 years then ranil came to talk peace then people wanted war so mahinda came and now again people want peace. he he

it seems the sri lankans need to makeup their mind what they want

I'm a fishing freak in a good way :)
I love it :) spend most of my small spare cash on it :)
90% of stuff i've bought on ebay are all fishing gear...
the season is from september to march-april...depending on the timings of the monsoon...
it's a good way to spend time with a few friends and loads of beer :)

But the p11 i checked does less hatn 8kmpl in colombo...my sprinter does 10+ and 15 out... :) Life sucks when you have to compromise no :( :(
You should join AL if you enjoy driving and cars :) we got a great community there :) Multi ethnic and multi brand lovers in every shape and foam and there's hardly any fights... :)

	He placed the number of SLA killed at 90. Last time SF said 75 SLA soldiers died in his misadventure at Muhamalai but raised that casulty figure to 210 when he met journalists in US. THe Americans are told the truth but the parents of slain soldiers were denied.

	Pera Sir One 4th year medical student was critically injured and admitted to the Kandy hospital. He is unconcious and in ventilator. Out of the topic, any good news about this student? is everthing back to normal?
