What a waste of Tamil diaspora money!

Many of these mines had been left behind by retreating SLA.... thats why, Kili, Elephant Pass, Mulaitive, Madu areas have very high concentration of mines!

Most of these were planted buy the cowards.
Even in places cleared of mines by intertnational agencies, these cowards have remined the cleared areas, to escape attack by the heroic Tigers.

When Tamils able to get revenge from Pirapahan for these crimes..

Yes they planted too... but, most concentrated land mines had been planted by cowards, i.e. SLA, to prevent ceasing waves of Tigers...

HSZ's have perhaps the largest concentrations! Now SLA occupying Sampur and converting it to a HSZ, this number can go up by another 1/2 million.

Remembering how 53 Tamil political prisoners were hacked to death in Welikada in July 1983.

Dr Nithy who was himself a Welikada prisoner in July 1983 described this morning how the fellow Sinhala hardcore prisoners were let loose by the prison guards on the orders of Cyril Mathew , a cabinet minister in the then JRJ's govt hacked 53 political prisoners to daeth.

The horrific account of these carefully planned massacre is still vivid in the memories of those who suffered and relatives left behind by the victims.

The Sinhalese hardliners both in the govt and at large have not changed even an iota. Still the same environment prevails in the country.
