Berty, people leave thier country for many reason, I just listed some of them. Blaming the GOSL is convenient and effective. that's all.
isn't that the easy way..there was a sinhala abduction fake incident too..why do you think a sinhalese wants to get out of the country in that manner..
Moby--u must understand your educated running a decent business and profitable but there are a lot of poor people who want to make some money and to be safe and they want to leave the country..they can't get Visa's if they apply so they will try to get a refugee status!!

I don't know how practical it is to train a few sensible lads from each village in these areas and also equip them to remove the mines in and around their villages, or else it'll take donkeys years to remove all those mines that tigers have implanted so far!

You are right, the best way out is to get the real culprits to remove the mines, which again is too unrealistic that it will take place.
Anyway these villagers are at risk with mines around their homesteads, but training them properly to remove mines in a safe way might be of some help to these helpless masses! |
