In revenge 9 civilians were shot and critically wounded by SL police
Fifteen minutes later, 9 civilians wounded in indiscriminate gunfire, were rushed to the local hospital and four of them, critically wounded, were transferred to Vavuniyaa hospital, medical sources said. Tension prevails in Cheddikku'lam which is located 23 km southwest of Vavuniyaa. One of the 8 wounded soldiers admitted at Anuradhapura hospital, succumbed to his wounds. |
