Susai in critical condition Son and the guard dead
July 25 (LeN) Sea Tiger leader Susai's son and the bodyguard were killed in an explosion in Mullaithivu and Susai himself was critically injured, sources from Vanni said. When 'LeN' enquired about the report from Rasaiyah Ilanthiriyan, he denied commenting as the incident was non-military. However, he said that it was an unfortunate mishap. Susai was busy on 18th due to a naval exercise of the LTTE and his son and the bodyguard were killed in an explosion that took place in another boat that was close to the Sea Tiger leader's boat

Ananthasangaree He is a big advocate of the federal solution to the conflict and genuinely speaks for all communities
Why didn't he achieve these goals when he was an LSSP Mp, TC MP and later as the leader of TULF?
Tamils at large and JHU perceived him as the advocate of the supremacy for Sinhala Buddhism.
His Quasi-Fedaral model will never work with nationalist Sinhala leadership. The Sinhala President as the leader of SL which has always been the case in the 60 year history will dissolve the Indian type Fedaral unit (Province) and sack the Chief Minister at the first available opportunity with any excuse he can invent. Then we will be back to square 1. |

For me, Nadarajah Raviraj was the best Tamil politician, and also one of the best politicians in SL this decade. He had the respect of all 3 communities, especially at his funeral Tamils, Sinhalese, and Muslims attended. He criticised what deserved to be criticised, he thought indepedently rather than being influenced by other groups. A big loss for the future democracy for Tamils. |

Whether it was done by the DPU or it's an internal division... it proves that:
a) Mahinda's systems work
b) The noose is now hanging closer than ever near the LTTE
These are benchmark achievements, to be appreciated.
We have to try harder in these trying times... and relentlessly pursuit LTTE and take justice to the LTTE... with DDT as a side dish.
