10000 feet may seem like a long way up for takaran air force mail planes, however, that is normal flying altitude for supersonic jets. The bombs can be easily targeted from these altitudes (for advanced aircraft such as the Kfir and Mig).

The LTTE are not considered as Sri Lankan citizens. Therefore we are not bombing our 'own citizens'. The SLAF should carpet bomb all the key LTTE installations to send them into disarray. Then the ground offensives will be more effective BC there will be fewer LTTE rats to kill. |

absolutely right, Peace talks are a waste of money
In South Africa and Northern Ireland they wasted a lot of money in their peace talks and eventual settlements of their disputes.
Wars are a waste of lives and properties. So long as some people keep themselves and their children away from the war they can encourage it in order to solve the unemployment problem. If other people's children are killed cowards' children are safe, ingeneous idea of the crooked. |

In these examples, both sides wanted the same thing, PEACE. I should have made myself clear before, peace talks WITH THE LTTE are useless because the LTTE are never genuine or committed. That is why peace talks with them are a waste of time and money. They only know war and killing, SO THAT IS WHAT THEY WILL GET!!

Because they know they are weaken in the power. The GOSL will not start anything unless all the LTTE cards are destroyed. If RW were the PM he would do this due to his female behavior.
Sl has a good leader.All tamils will have soon as soon as the all the north is under the GOSL's control. |

This is a good time to start an operation to liberate Northern. Otherwise LTTE will plant claymore and land mines where ever possible to kill military personnel and sinhala civillians. When LTTEers get caught they will have to face the same consequences. Unfortunately then our human rights groups will activate to protect these brutal LTTEers. When LTTE kill unarmed soldiers who are going on leave to see their children and relatives or parents these right groups are dumb.
