TNTamil,
I believe you are from Tamil Nadu. Are you prepared to forgo Kashmir then, based on your reasoning?
No foreign govt can interfere with the territorial integrity of another country. It's only up to the people of the country to decide whether to agree for seperatism. Even through a referendum, how in the world can a 18% minority muster enough votes for separatism? Overseas separatist Tamils have to live with the fact that the Tamils in Sri Lanka are a minority. On your basis of argument, any minority can claim a separate state claiming discrimination. If that is so, then UK would have to be carved for Tamils, Muslims and what not..... |

The money the Tamil disapora is giving to the LTTE to wage war against the people of Sri Lanka can be better used to uplift all Tamils.Be it in SL or overseas..
Stop the funding of the war by LTTE.
Problem solved.. |

Guys
TNT belongs to a minority within the 18% of SL tamils. Not everyone out of this 18% believes separation is the answer not to mention what ltte seeks is totally un-acceptable to a vast majority...
like it or not this is democracy...majority rules :) |

Dauntless,
Exactly. Not everyone in this pitiful 18% minority is ready for separatism. Would the Tamils enjoying plum posts in Sri Lanka throw everything up for Eelam, and live under a president who is an internationally wanted criminal? |

Cakeboy,
True. London is just beginning to take grasp of the situation. There is a Sinhala saying here ( don't take me for a racist now!) that when you lie with dogs, you have to wake up with ticks. London unashamedly helped terrorism in Sri Lanka, and now it's reaping the harvest. Would America tolerate if Osama's Spokesperson resided in London? |

Obviously you dont have much knowledge about the geography of SL and the distribution of its people.
My comment was about probable progress of the 2 countries. |
