If Tamils are taking extreme measures, then why not go to your 'eelam' and together with VP and fight SLDF? Why stay in London? Surely, that's a better way to fight the 'tamil cause' than jump ship to London?
Do you know most Tamils (Supported to LTTE) do not like to stay in SL. Because the ruppee is very low. If they are in USA. CAn or in AUS they can earn much money. They are really greedy people.
They have enough freedom if they in SL. Then how 20% total population in SL .

I see. But Eelam is not possible, when Tamils consist just only 18% of population and when there is no historical basis. But a peaceful Sri Lanka is certainly possible , if Tamils aboard stop funding VP's terrorism. If you want a peaceful Eelam, them I'm afraid that's never going to happen, as long as Sri Lanka remains a sovereign state. Only Tamils and Tamils alone can put a stop to the war in Sri Lanka.....stop funding VP, and you can have all the peace you want. Tamil's in Colombo are an example how peaceful coexistence is possible. It's only in Kilinochchi that other ethnic gp's are cleansed. Can't you guys see the harm you do for your relatives back in SL?

Exactly. Eelam is a rouge state, with no legal basis. How can 18% of population demand a separate state? No foreign govt, even if they would dearly love to see Sri Lanka fractured, can ever support Eelam, as there is no basis for it. |

UK guys must also taste our pain for making a safe heaven for this peedung guys who are a real headache for any country.
These INNOCENT guys were doing all sorts of crimes and robberies in the mname of a peedung istuggle.

In North America, 52% of the land (Canada) has 10% of the population (just taking USA and Canada). So, should the USA take up the rest of the canadian land?

What is the historical basis for a single country? Why are there two countries in a small island Hispaniola (Haiti , Dominican Republic) but only 1 country in Ceylon? Because Ceylon had 1 dominant colonial power and Hispaniola had 2 (Spanish and french). So, if the South in SL had 2 colonial powers ruling it would have been 2 countries today. There was no respect for preexisting cultures and country like formations when the nations were split 50+ years ago. Its time these errors were rectified wherever necessary (Eelam is one such necessity because of the discrimination against the Tamils)

In away it's good that Al-qaeda exists so that it gives an 'international face' to these terrorists...
