Good to know you inherited some good genes from your father.
The govt must stop abductions and killing of innocent civilians in SLA controlled areas. Killing innocent civilians is barbarism and no civilised human ever support such abhorant human rights violations.
MPs, jouranalists, professionals and many 100s of civilians have been unnecessarily killed by SLA and paramilitaries in the SLA controlled areas.

Alwaysalian,
I meant that you have inherited good genes from your father who risked his life in order to safe Tamils.
I do not hate the govt. I do not love any group either. I know many countries like Israel, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan.... that have problems.
If you look at countries that have resolved their disputes like Singapore, Canada, S.Africa, N.Ireland, it was the leaders who solved them.
In Sri Lanka too if there is a leader who have a long vision of development, construction and self suffietncy we can also lead a life that others are envy of.
There is a Tamil problem taht, as CBK said, started in 1956 with Sinhala Only. Because the then Opposition did not allow or the leaders were not strong enough to stand up the problem stand unresolved.
Unless the problem resolved no one can stop the war. APRC Chaiman Tissa Vitharana is the only hope. But last Feb he was stopped by MR when he published his proposals. As I see it MR is more of an impediment to peace than VP who will have to toe the line if Tamils accept a genuine solution within a united Sri Lanka. |

Sintamus, with all due respect to you, the 1956 problem

Sintamus,
Why not you man rejecting to understand terror by LTTE will not support your said words.
In 1956 the theater was much different.
If Tamil leaders are playing into terror,Innocent civilians of all communities will face difficulties.
still GOSL accept talks but looks things changing fast. |
