Lately it is hard to believe much..The only way to stop is the Forces to finish this war fast..I still feel there is a Deal and this war will never end during Mr's tenure..!!

If Mahinda had a deal with the LTTE as you assume then Mahinda will have the North too and he will get the public backing.
But as things stand now it seems Colonal Karuna has the edge with the East liberated and he'd most likely to win most of the seats in local elections. |

The GOSL is fighting a terror outfit comprised of 99% of tamils.It is obvious that tamil citizens will face hardships when it comes to security..
The SLA is doing its best to not to harras innocent tamils..
There are always exceptions.
Most of the Sri Lankans like to give some autonomy to tamils but not under Velu...
He got too much Sinhalese blood on his hands..
He engineered the ethnic cleansing of muslims and sinhalese.
Every Sinhalese hate him even if he offers peace tomorrow...
Forget about the Sinhalese.Tamils never denounced the LTTE for the eviction of the Muslims from the North East. You are telling Sinhalese to appologise for the 1983 incidents.
I think the Sinhalese did this already..No tamil politician appologised to the Muslims for the evictions...
It is about time Tamils find a leader who is acceptable to all comunities.

I know it is hard to even think there is a deal but so far I do not see any real attack by MR to get VP, they do not even know where those lite aircraft are..These are a bit too much to swallow nangi
also there wasn't a single attempt on MR s life by LTTE..I think these are conditions in the deal made between MR and VP

Aiyo aiyo, 80 years is not really old for a fit guy like you ayya. becauze I know some really athletic guys in their younger days live upto 90+ so, in theory you are still very young :)
